Tethering/Hot Spot Q???

Hello!

So, is tethering the same as Hot Spot?? Why dont i have the tethering option when i up grade? does any one understand? also, does att know that i have a tethering plan.. does that transfer to hot spot? Help?

Tethering=WiFi Hotspot

After you first upgrade to 4.3, go to settings, general, network and turn on internet tethering. Then Personal hotspot will appear in Settings
