Hello!

I am trying to tether my nokia 5800 to my MBP via blue tooth thats running snow leopard.

Following this guide i can go right up to step 8, but then in step 8 I dont see that option of "access the internet with your phones data connection".

Has this been changed in SL or something? all the steps are slightly different than whats displayed there, but minutely so... so i have managed so far.

Please help.

Thanks!
R

isync

you have to download the isync plugin

http://www.nokiausa.com/get-support-and-software/software/isync/compatibility-and-download

1.download the exact one
2.then sync it
3.go set up the bluetooth
APN for t-mobile is wap.voicestream.com, it doesnt need the other stuff
for att:Username:WAP@CINGULARGPRS.COM
Password:CINGULAR1
APN:wap.cingular
if different then search for the APN

go to network preference
click bluetooth side bar
and connect

if it doesnt work goto advance in the network preference and fill out the info under the modem tab.

Thanks for replying, but I sold the macbook and am back on my Acer C2D and very happy with it, will never be going back to Macs.

I do appreciate you taking the time to reply though and wish you a very nice day
