Tethering on 3.0 Whats wrong here?

I am using 3.0 7A341 on the 04.26.08 firmware
I am using a AT&T 5.1 IPCC carrier that lets me use MMS, VVS, etc and has a tethering option but when I turn it on, nothing happens. I tried benm profile, that doesnt turn it on either. I also did JB with redsn0w and unlocked with blacksn0w. Still cannot seem to get the blue bars saying tethering...

Does this appear to be an IPCC issue?

-Aggie-, I see that you have a 6.0 stealth file? Is that all I need on my phone to get it to tether?

I installed the 6.0 stealth ipcc but can only tether to my desktop Win XP, my 2 laptops Vista and Win 7 do nothing. Any ideas?
