I'm sure many of you recall AT&T sending text messages and letters to people on the UDP a few years ago in regards to stop tethering or be forced to change their data plans.
The last time I recieved a notice was more two years ago and I stopped tethering.
I am interested to know if this is still going on? I will be traveling for a few weeks and would like to use my iPad on the go. I avg about 4-5 GB of regular data per month. I am looking to tether about 1-2gb for while I travel.
Please share your experiences if you can in terms of:
Have you recently tethered? Do you use it with a PC/iPad? What app do you use for tethering (native/Cydia), how much do you usually tether?

PLEASE NOTE: Do not advise me on why I don't just change my plan or whether or not it's right/wrong to tether if you don't have the plan. I am aware of my choices. I am just looking for some feedback from others in similar situations to myself.

I do it once in a while on my jb 6 plus. Using mywi to connect my laptop.
Not lots of data but it's still a risk.
I haven't heard of people getting notices lately from att.

thanks for the feedback. Any reason why u use mywi instead of the native hotspot app?
