Does Att and tmobile allow tethering natively on their grandfathered/older unlimited data plans? Thanks !

You'll either have to switch to a tiered plan and loss you unlimited data, or wait for a jailbreak.

Tmobile Simple Choice (not prepaid plans) plans all allow tethering. the unlimited plan allows 2.5gb of tethering.

But that's the newer plans correct? I'm on an grandfathered plan of 1000 min android preferred unlimited data plan for $20.

Yes that is for the new simple choice plans.

T-Mobile is moving people off old grandfathered plans on onto Simple Choice as we speak. So I would expect some kind of special Simple Choice letter/email plan change notification for you in the near future.

Hopefully it won't come until end of dec :)

No jb, then you have to pay the piper (carriers). Unless you still have one of those iTunes apps that had a tether hack still stashed away in your computer and if said app actually works properly for that in iOS7

Tethering on iOS 7 without jailbreak??

I do have the army knife app on my iPhone 5 (which is jailbroken and I use other tethering apps) and I do have the army knife app :) but alas it doesn't have wifi tethering :( so I don't want to use it on my iPhone 5s and 5c. I'll just wait for a jailbreak :)

Any one use that tetherme app that was taken out the App Store by chance?
