TetherMe not working with iPad 3?

I've had no issues when I would connect any device to my iPhone 4s but this is the first time I connected my iPad 3 and it links but I can't get any Internet on the iPad. Anyone have this problem? Could it be with 5.1 on the iPad? My 4s is still on the 5.0.1 that it shipped with and jailbroken using TetherMe.
