TetherMe Wifi support?

Just purchased TetherMe. Works fine over bluetooth to my laptop.
Can someone confirm that it will have wifi support soon but will I
have to upgrade my iPhone 4 to 4.3 to use it over wifi or will it work
on my current 4.1 os.

It is rumored to support the Personal Hotspot functionality but that is not guaranteed. For the price you really can't expect too much. Use MyWi if you need that functionality now (and yes I know MyWi has some downsides.)

You will need 4.3 as the hotspot functionality is only built in to 4.3. It simply doesn't exist at all in any previous iOS releases.

Ok i am on a Verizon iPhone 4 running 4.2.8. It seems that the only way to get a useable connection is to have bluetooth turned on.

does that sound right.

Nope. It works with or without bluetooth. I've been tethering my Verizon iPhone since shortly after I got it. Just make sure WiFi is actually turned on beforehand

i have only just started using it, but there is a pop up that well.. pos up right after i turn it on that if i do not click yes, it does not seem to work.

But maybe i am reading this wrong?
