Text Alerts and Ringtones in 3.0

Does anyone know if the 3.0 software is going to add any new rintones and more importantly text alerts. While we can get creative with ringtones, the text alert options have been limited and locked for two years now.

If you jailbreak, you aren't limited. But no, I haven't read any stories, etc regarding newer or added tones for SMS, etc.
