This may be a dumb question, but is there anyway to text people who are not iOS users from my iMac? Such as an android user or what not? No real reason that I NEED to do this, I guess I am just lazy and dont want to pick up my phone while I am working... Thanks!

You can use something like this: http://www.txtdrop.com/widget.php, but I don't think there is anything for the messages app.
