I turned on the option to delete my text/iMessages after 30 days. When I activated the feature it asked if I wanted to remove everything older than that already on the device. I said yes and it did remove as expected.

Thing is, that appears to be the last time it did this. I have messages that are now @35 days old that are still on my device. Anyone else select this option that is seeing this work?

I don't keep my messages long term so looking forward to this working correctly. Its been difficult waiting this many days to test only to see it do nothing so far.

I haven't enabled this, but what I would like (and correct me if I'm wrong here) is to keep text, just auto delete pictures/audio/video after 30 days. Keep the text, but get rid of the bloat.
