text message banner won't appear in lock screen/homescreen

when i receive a text there is no notifications on the lock screen. but every other app gets a notification. samething in home screen it doesn't show up as a banner only as a notification on the app itself. all my settings r turned on so idk what happened

i have an ip4s 5.0.1 and jailbroken

Settings -> Notifications -> Messages -> View in Lock Screen ( ON O)

Double check that. If that doesn't fix it, do you have a third party program handling your text messages?
