Text message colors.

My wife has a Sprint IP5 and I have an ATT IP5. How come her texts are blue on her phone and mine are green. Is this carrier based?

nope. just make sure imessaging is on on both phones

The color is determined by whether or not the message is going through iMessage or just SMS.

Blue is an iMessage.
Green is regular text messaging.
Perhaps you haven't enabled iMessage?

Green text bubbles (normal texting) are when the iMessaging is off or can't be connected to.

Blue text bubbles (iMessage).

Shake it, I have always had it off. I never wanted text popping up on the ipad so it has always been off.
