Text Message Forwarding Not Working

Had this issue since iOS 16 betas.. have since switched both mac and iphone. Forwarding is enabled under settings and imessage syncs correctly but SMS does not forward to mac at all.

Anyone know a solution? Disabling/re-enabling imessage does nothing.

Yes, everything is set up correctly.

Also - SMS is being forwarded to my watch but notifications do not show for SMS messages. Restore does not resolve this

Just curious if anyone else is experiencing this as well
