Text message notifications

I’m getting texts but there is no sound and my watch doesn’t light up. Anyone know why this would be?

I’m getting texts but there is no sound and my watch doesn’t light up

I'm experiencing the same thing, where I'll get a text, however my watch does not notify me that one came through. I noticed after a little bit of experimenting that the text does come through to the watch, i.e., swiping down, I see the text, but the watch never notified me of the inbound text.

I turned on the sound, (which was off), to see if that fixes the issue, but so far I've not received any texts, to report on the success/failure of that.

Do not disturb is on ? Is the setting on the Apple Watch notifications set to mirror ?

It’s finally working now for a few days. I think my watch needed to get acclimated to the network.
