Is there a way to make text messages alert you on both your watch and phone? I have my phone set to a very loud obnoxious tone for my boss so if he texts me I don't miss it. Once my watch is connected, it doesn't play the sound on the phone.

I think this is a conscious choice on Apple's part to ensure that you don't get double-notified. As far as I know, there isn't a way to disable this behaviour

Yeah, working as intended. If your phone is asleep, only the watch will buzz. If you're actively using your phone, only the phone will sound.

Thanks, and glad I read this. I had wounded why most of the time it was :apple:Watch only but sometimes my iPhone would sound.

At first I would only get the notification sounds on the watch, then after a couple of days they started coming through on both. THEN they were still coming through on the watch even when I was using the phone.

I un-paired and re-paired the watch and its gone back to the way its supposed to work.
