Hi all,

I'm a new Ipad user. I love how my mac and my Iphone can synchronise everything, ans that I can send and receive text messages on my mac. Can I do the same with my Ipad? It only seems to show iMessages

Thanks

Yes, you can. It's somewhere in the settings and you have to turn it on. The only thing that annoys me is that when you delete a message on one device, it doesn't delete on the others.

Make sure you're logged into iCloud on both devices, then on your iPhone go to Settings > Messages > Text Message Forwarding. You should see your iPad listed there; slide the selector over and it will ask you to type in a six-digit code that will appear on your iPad. Once you do that, you'll start receiving text messages on your iPad, even when they're not on the same network together. Very handy feature.
