In settings and on where it says...send and receive and under ..you can be reached by ..iMessage my email address is highlighted and checked.. but my phone number is checked but not highlighted...but under that it says... Start new conversation and thats checked and highlighted... my question is this.. how do i make sure when i send a text that just my phone number shows and not my email?..i have a iPhone 5... and i haven't downloaded iOS 7..Thanks for any help...

That's not a text message option, you're in the imessages section.
You can remove the email and just leave the phone number listed there.
