Text Messages

So reading the PRICE CHART, it says .20 per text message (if no plan selected).

Anyone know if you were to pay $5 for 200, if the cost per text after that is reached would ALSO be .20? Or would it be a different rate?

with my old non iphone I had the 5 dollar addon and it was 10 cents per text after 200. With the first gen iphone i pay 5 cents for each over 200

Wouldn't be so bad then to get the $5 plan and pay overage if it's only .05/message. Maybe even the .10/per message.

Trying to justify paying an extra $25/month ($10/date and $15/unlimited text) just for the 3G...I've got GPS in the car so that really isn't a big plus for me.

I called AT&T. The rep I spoke with said with an iPhone TEXT MESSAGE plan, the OVERAGE cost would be .10/text which could save some people from having to get the UNLIMITED if you wanted to save a few bucks somewhere.
