text messaging delays on iphone...

I have noticed that my texts reach the recipient slower than on my previous phone (samsung blackjack)

in some cases its just awful. this happends all the time. my friend is picking me up to go out, and texts me that he is outside. I text him "yeah i'll be out in 5 mins". on several occasions, he receives the text message the next day!!

i can't find a logical explanation for it, other than...its the phone?

i live in los angeles county so coverage is definitely not an issue.


any thoughts?

Hmmmm would be more lenient towards a more of a network error rather than a phone error.... who you with and is it payg or contract ?

Bit more tecnical info to 1.1.1 ?
