Text Messaging issue.

Has anyone else had a problem with texting? Mine works great sometimes but then sometimes it just slows down and it doesn't type very fast it takes like 5 seconds to type a whole word... Just wondering if it's just me. Oh and it's a new iPhone 3G on o2.

Firmware Bug (should be fixed soon)

I believe this is a 2.0 bug that should be fixed soon via an update from Apple. I have noticed it a few times, mostly when I am running other apps as well (Safari, iPod, etc.). Similar to the Contacts issue where it lags before you can scroll through your contacts. Annoying, yes, fixable, yes.

Definitely is not an isolated issue, many have had problems with lag/buggy software. Very un-Apple, but I would hope (or better yet expect) them to be working on this and releasing an update ASAP.
