iPhone 12 Pro Max Text Messaging issues.

Since updating in December 2020 to 12 pro Max my text messaging is very inconsistent. It sometimes freezes for hours where I can't receive or send messages. I've worked with advanced consultants at Apple and they haven't been able to help me fix this after 30 or so attempts, hours on the phone and diagnostics sent to the engineers. Does anyone else have this problem? It's random as to when it happens and sometimes days at a time. My texting works on my computer so im not completely stuck but Im really to the point of wanting to start a class actin lawsuit.

I've never had this issue and haven't seen it mentioned on this forum until your post so it seems to be an isolated issue...

Have you contacted your service provider to see if there is an issue with your SIM card?

is this related to iMessages or SMS messages?

I’ve had my 12 Pro Max since launch day and have absolutely no issues with texting on any text app - works flawlessly and never once freezes. Doesn’t seem like what you’re experiencing is a phone issue. Sounds to me it has something to do with your carrier or the SIM card
