text on a line in photoshop

if you have photoshop CS, it should be really simple... its one of their big new features. i'm still on 7 and there appears no way to do it. most of the time, at school we would just use illustrator and import it since illustrator is much better for type. but if you don't have illustrator or photoshop CS i cannot help you. i tried several different tricks with type on a path and shapes and got nothing....
