Text Replacement Settings File Location

Can someone tell me where the settings for the Text Replacement (Substitutions) are saved? And is it possible to manually edit that file?

I'm hoping to be able to open it and paste in all my text replacements from another application. This may be naive, but ideally I would open the file and find two columns, ie. the text to replace, and the text to replace it with.

Let me guess, things aren't that simple? I just don't want to go through the pain of redefining all my spelling corrections, it's a bit clumsy to do this on the mac.
