Hllo,

Embarrased to ask, but-

How do I change the text size for the text (name) that appears
right below a Folder ?

More than one way ?

Can I do it for all of the ones on my desktop at once ?

Thanks,
B.

Left click (or right, depending) on the desktop and go to Show View Options, then change text size works for me...

There may be other ways as well.

Yep, or click on an empty spot on the desktop and then press Command-J. Brings up the same box as above.

I don't know if I have some utility installed that allows me to do this, but I can use Command + Shift + (Plus or Minus keys) to enlarge/reduce the text & icon size.

@MacGizmo, I definitely do not have a utility for that action, but it works, so must be built into the OS. I did not like the result however, and had to rearrange my Desktop.

Yeah, it enlarges everything, not just the text. So folders move accordingly (depending on the grid size you have set).

You can also adjust the text size ONLY by going to System Settings>Accessibility>Display and click the "Text size" Custom menu in the Text section where you can adjust the text size of several Apple apps, including the Finder.
