I am nearly 80, and my sight is nowhere as good as it was, and is getting worse. I have used Google Chrome as my browser for some time, as it enables me to have a white-text-on-black-background display for menu-bar, and other system text. However, I now need to enlarge that text, or I shall soon be unable to use this MacBook Air at all. I went to System Preferences, Display, Resolution, Scaled, and chose 1152 x 648. This makes little if any difference, and I shall before long need larger text. I am committed to using El Capitan (which I do not in the least like, by the way), because of the age of this notebook. Any help much appreciated.
