Text slightly flickers

Hi, I have a new iPhone 11 and I've noticed text slightly flickering. It mostly occurs on dark backgrounds, with gray or white text. When I scroll the text will slightly flicker and it's been giving me some eye strain. It doesn't really occur on white backgrounds, although text on white backgrounds seems to "smear" a little when scrolling. Is this normal or is there something wrong with my display?
