I've received a few spam texts recently but there's no complete phone number associated with it. It comes up as "970-3", so I cannot forward it to T Mobile's spam text page (which requires a 10 digit phone number). Is there some way of getting this reported?

That sounds like a number your carrier would use. I know AT&T uses numbers like that to text with messages that u r gonna exceed your data limit or stuff like that.

Try texting STOP to that number. It definitely looks like a number from something you maybe opted into. As someone else mentioned, you can add it to your contacts and then block it.
