Text vibrate hardly works?

Ever since going to iOS 4.2 and onwards, I've noticed that the vibration for recieving texts doesn't work a fair amount of the time.

Does this happen to anyone else?

Using an iPhone 4 too

I've had the same issue on my iPhone 4, and same with the sound for text alerts as well sometimes do not work. Also sometimes the vibrate is just one vibrate instead of two.

i just noticed this a few days ago.

it's weird.. it doesn't vibrate at all, not just during texts, but phone calls as well. even if i flick the switch it won't vibrate for a few minutes.

sometimes i have to lock my phone, restart or plug it into USB for the vibrate to start working again

What version of iOS are you using? I was using 4.3.4 and just upgrading to 4.3.5 right now. Hope it fixes it

started happening a few days ago with a replacement phone.

might go back to Apple as i don't think this is a software issue.
