TextEdit's Plain Text Font Changed!!!

Hey guys,

I upgraded from Mac OSX Lion to Mavericks and I used the Mac's Textedit a lot. I noticed that the font/style of the Textedit for plain text changed. It's much darker and a bit shorter. Anyone know how to revert back to the old font style? Thank you so much!
