Texting, Calling and Photo Messaging APPS?

I am looking for an APP that's similar to TextNow or TextFree but allow's free calls sending and receiving without the need of buying credits. Also the app has to allow texting and photo messages both sending and receiving. Does anyone know of any APPs like these or similar to these?

well the stock apple apps can solve this. iMessage is free to send pictures and messages over wifi or network data. FaceTime on iOS 7 can also make a voice call, same thing as a normal call, also free.

I know of those but my friend lives in Canada and has a flip phone haha.

There are various other ones like Viber, Tango, fring. Don't think any would really work with basic flip phones though.

how do you expect to contact him then? apps you download to communicate usually require both ends to have the app, as you communicate through the app.

A Google Voice-based app could do the calls and texting, but not MMS messages. The calls would not be "free" but it would be the same as calling a local number vice an international call.
