has anyone run into any issues sending screenshots to 3G users? I texted a screenshot taken from my iPhone 4 to three different 3G users (neither of whom have upgraded from 3.1.3) and all three received the same error message:

I havent had any issues sending photos to those users via mms, only screenshots taken from the phone itself.

Probably because of the size of the screenshot. Larger resolution = larger file size. You probably can't send a picture that large through MMS.

I had the same problem.
So copied the screenshot to PC, then saved the *.png file to *.jpg and then synced it back to iphone.

Sent OK after this. Maybe it is the *.png format that MMS doesnt like ?

This worked for me anyway

Tried this theory. Sent a picture to someone with a 3GS and it was 2.9MB - went right through. Then tried to send a screenshot that was 946k, and it failed. So it's not the resolution or picture size causing that problem.

It's probably what one of the above posters said:

Screenshots are saved as .PNG files. Maybe, AT&T has a problem converting PNGs during MMS uploads.
