I installed TG Pro. And Found a feature called Automax which will run the Mac Fan to 100 percent if the temperature goes above 70 degrees C and stays there for more than 5 secs (its the default setting). We can change the temperature from 70 to any value we want. The advantage of the above feature is that my Mac never goes above 90 degree . Apple default setting goes above 90 too often times, sure they come back quickly itself. Disadvantage is that the Fan runs more than usual. Apple Default setting runs the fan only if the temp goes above 90 deg. My question is, is it a good idea to use the Automax feature, because practically we are tampering with a default setting.
