Thai script for mac

I need to print some documents in Thai and currently when opening the file in word just a bunch of boxes and unrecognisable characters appear.

I have a mac with osx 10.5. Is there a Thai script software pack that I can download somewhere?

System Preferences > International > Language > Edit List button and add Thai. That should add support for it.

Thanks, already tried that but still the same problem with the word document

Office does kind of its own thing with language fonts. There could be an issue there. Have you attempted to open the document in another application such as OpenOffice (free) or TextEdit?
