I read somewhere on these forums (can't remember exactly where) that you can get refunds for items purchased on iTunes. It's not even that hard to do. A few clicks.

I got a bit trigger-happy over Christmas and slightly overdid the tv and movie purchases. I'm happy to report that Apple was happy to refund the ones I subsequently regretted (and which I didn't watch).

Suddenly I'm all in love with Apple again.

Apple CS is always reasonable to me. I got one movie that stuck on loading after 10 minutes of watching and renting window was almost over so I contacted them and sure enough, they refunded me.
I never asked them for a refund but if they couldn't solve any problem they always refunded me that item no matter which it is: app, music or video.
