Hi All,

I've been a lurker over that last couple of months trying to figure out if a Mac Pro 4,1 would be a good buy. Well after a day of installing OS X's from Yosemite to High Sierra (felt like I was time traveling) and firmware updates and memory and a solid state hard drive, I can say I'm about 90% done. The new processor and graphics card and maybe one of those pcie hard drive's await!!!

I just want to say Thank you to all of the people who helped me decide on this and figure out how to upgrade this amazing piece of technology. I'm amazed a place like this exists with so much good information!!!!

The old place has been around for years. With everyone in such a hurry speeding on the information highway, no one takes the time to stop in anymore. The wealth of info and the knowledge base inside is well worth it.
A few of us have been meaning to tidy up the exterior a bit! 😇
