I have an iMac that shipped with 1gig of ram total. I had no complaints but just felt it should be two gigs. But when I bought my Apple it was way too prohibitive to upgrade the ram.
Enter the good folks here! I found 2 gigs of ram at a good price and installing was a snap, literally! I didn't realize it but the instruction for doing that task are even on the bottom of the silver stand for the computer!
