I just got a new 17" MacBook Pro some 3 weeks ago and I am enjoying every minute that I spend on it.

More importantly, I have been a lurker on these boards for a very long time. As such, I wanted to "Thank" this community for affording so much helpful information . . . A big Thanks to all of you good folks, whom make this such a successful forum.

Is this your first Mac?
I just got my first one (the 15" MBP) a month ago. It is freakin' awesome and so is this forum...lots of good info and helpful, knowledgeable people here.

Thanks, everyone. I'm sure this new notebook will serve me quite well. Apple produces a product, which is second to none.

Congrats! Which screen option did you get?

I opted for the default glossy screen.
