This morning I got a Thanks for Purchasing your new Mac email from Apple. I haven't bought a new mac in over 5 years. I did verify my apple id and everything looks correct so is it likely that when I had to do a clean install on my mac it sent a message back to Apple making it appear that I had bought a new computer?
