Had a problem with my I phone running out of battery charge and only showing a red battery and charging screen and not charging or switching off. I just Google the problem and it brought me to this forum. Tried the home and power button whilst connecting back to my MacBook Pro and it works.

Just joined the forum because of this and saying thanks

I know this is an old post but I just wanted to respond anyway.
This is the first post I have seen thanking everyone. I'm sure there are others but with all the negatives I wanted to respond to a positive.
