Just bought an i7 iMac and various other accessories after months of reading and advice from members here.

As a Windows user (who still loves Windows 7), I really appreciate the help and advice of all you members here :D

November is such a long time......

I would say "welcome to the family" but then I would sound like an ass (seriously, what family?) :D

if you were a windows user for that long, you'll probably get annoyed at how rudimentary and 'child-proof' snow leopard is.

'Family' sounds a bit Godfathery, doesn't it? You have dis-appointud teh famulyhhh... cough.

Well since nothing has ever gone wrong with my Mac, and (or because) I don’t use Microsoft, I have become inept at fixing computer problems. People ask me for help and I tell them I have no idea, I have not come across that problem because my computer just works. Switching to Apple has turned me into an ordinary nerd.

Lol, I understand that completely. I got a call the other day about a "screen problem" where everything was just "too big." Naturally, I figured screen resolution. Problem was that I had to actually look up where to go change it! But then again this was a Vista issue and I've always avoided Vista like the plague. No doubt I could have fixed it quickly and easily in person, but over the phone I had no idea without looking. Guess I'm just spoiled...

I thought that the quad imacs didn't ship until november... or is that only online? can you please tell me where you purchased it?
