I've read that the new PBs are using the new Intrepid2 chipset that supposedly supports PCIe... not that it means anything for laptops, but it sure helps when Apple is looking to integrate the current generation GPUs in!

Is that true?

Well to that extend that I've read it as well, yes it is true.
 
it's good that they're using ddr2 since it's actually the cheapest ram you can buy right now, but isn't the bus bottlenecking the thing? i mean, that was the case with regular ddr as well, right?
