Hey guys, just bought one of the keyboard covers off ebay for my UBMP 13" and put it on, 20 minuets later spilt a whole mug of coffee on it. Went over the keyboard, and I just took the cover off, and cleaned it.

Saved my computer.

Best £4 I have ever spent!

Sweet! I got one of these and it's certainly been helpful in the last few years even if I haven't yet (and hopefully never ever!) spilled anything on it. It does catch itty bits of dust/dirt that falls in the cracks between the keys.

that was very lucky
now take this new opportunity and never again have liquids near it

Pft...and they say keyboard condoms are ugly. Bet you'll never hear one of us starting a new "I spilled juice/soda/beer/bodily fluids all over my macbook pro, advice?" threads. My keys have no grease wear/shine after a year of use too (1st gen macbook pro)
