Best Buy already has iPad Airs for sale listed on their Open Box site....not a bad discount!

Didn't see any 64gb or 128gb iPads, while they appear to be matching Walmart's $479 deal, not a bad deal for the 32gb.

Edit: Just searched a larger radius (not in driving distance really) and there were some 128gb's from $740!!! If you are getting an Air and haven't yet, I would DEFINITELY consider their open box.

O.O 70 $ to upgrade my 16gb to 32

hm. i bet they have dings or werid screen issues tho. no way someone returned on the first day unless otherwise

I'd be a bit wary of these, they are most likely returned because of minor screen issues (dust, dead pixels, etc.)

They are either listed as "excellent" which is NO issues, or Certified, which is NO issues but they seem to charge more because a "genius" inspects them .... as far as any screen issues, seems like you could take it to Apple and get it replaced under warranty.

However, each Best Buy open box varies per area. Could be better deals in yours! Would be curious to hear about them!

Lots of us who bought it at BB did a PM with Walmart and Target. They could keep those open boxes.

I'm a taker!! :)

And you can bring them right to Apple to get it replaced under the manufacturer warranty. I would JUMP on this deal if I didn't already buy mine lol

Best Buy is matching Walmart's $479 price, so a $5 savings on the base model. :D

Question: Do they let you inspect the open box models, or does the blue tape stop you from doing so?

Edit: Just checked the price for the open box 16GB Air in my area, it's $465.99. Interesting.

My area only has a silver 32. If they had any Space Gray 64s, I might have just bought that and returned my current one. #

yeah it was surprising, I went to my local best buy and they had a TON of supply this morning I bought one, went later in the evening and they still had a ton of supply and an open box so I bought that too.
