Recently I posted on saying that I wanted to get rid of my mac mini to keep the MBP only with the 24" ACD. I bought the Twelve South Bookarc today from best buy and it felt...ODD. 
My desk isn't that huge also since I got my big textbooks on my left. It seemed as if the MBP was sort of in the way, whereas the mac mini sits nicely under my ACD to the right. This setup, I have more space... I'm going to return the bookarc tomorrow since I don't need it. Since I have the luxury of having two macs, I will keep my current devices and rely on mobileme to keep them in sync, which is what it's for! I realized that I enjoyed taking my ipad or MBP to my couch or around the house and it wasn't a hassle. All the while keeping my mac mini in my room as stationary and continuously updating whatever its updating etc....
