The 13" macbook (low budget) in black?

given that apple charges a premium for the black I don't see it happening anytime soon. Maybe in a year or 2, but not within the immediate future.
I was thinking about this too. They probably made it in black to see if people like it, and probably for the next generation they will make the lower-end MacBook in black and white colors.
They decided to charge extra for the black since their experience from the black ipods were that many people were willing to pay the price, just for the color.
Compare with the ipod nano for example, only the high end(8gb) version is avaible in black.
I'm pretty sure they wont make a cheaper black version.

People like black in an Apple cause its either exculsive, elitist, or its just never happened b4.
I got my 5G iPod in Black cause I'd never seen a Black iPod before. I got my Nano in white cause I realized theres a reason they only used to sell iPods in white, it looks better than black.
Yet, some people believe since only 8GB is in Black, they are not the best unless they got black.
And you know... its just cool to plain be black.
