The 2010 MacBook Pro new trackpad gesture?

I read online somewhere that the new macbook pro trackpads offer scrolling the same as on the magic mouse and iPhone. Does anyone think it would be possible to get it on the previous generation MacBook pros after all I only see this as a software tweak as I assume the trackpads will be idential
