I was browsing on the Apple website from ten years ago, via archive.org's "Wayback Machine" feature (eat your heart out, Mr. Peabody!) Check out the old "Reasons Why You'll Love a Mac" page...

They used to be kind of smart-alecky at saying Macs were better than PCs. Today there are some differences and some similarities. What's different is how iLife is now (no more iWeb or iDVD, no creating podcasts on GarageBand, Photos replacing iPhoto, etc.) It also now comes with its' own work-productivity software by default (iWork). But it still comes with software that lets you take action right out of the box; they're still quite fast, stable and secure; they can still run Windows pretty well; finding drivers isn't really an issue on the Mac OS, and more.
