Good news story about my AirPod Pro. Was away for the weekend, wanted to use my buds but they were missing from the case. Got home a couple of days later, and they were nowhere to be found.
On the off chance I used Find My and to my astonishment I read they’re in multiple locations. On April 15 the left bud was last located on a bike track at 10.50am and the right at 11.30pm! They must’ve separated from the case when I accidentally dropped them on the bike track. Had no idea individual buds could be tracked and they were still pinging their location hours after they were separated from the case.
5 days later on April 19, I was finally able to check where the buds were last located… The fact they were still there at the side of the track was amazing. The fact they were still working, even though they were subjected to 2 days of warm to hot weather + 2 days of heavy rain was amazing (I applied moderate heat for 20 minutes to clear potential moisture inside the units). The left bud had 100% charge and the right 70%, 5 days out of the case!
Can’t tell how relieved I was to be reunited with my fully functioning AirPod Pro!
