But I find these people to be stupid because don't they have to pay to list on ebay? So in theory, he is selling something that probably will not sell and he'll end up losing more money as a result of his stupidity.

I'm sure it's because he was so angry that he figured he'd spend $5 to post that [or whatever the price is] because there is an actual possibility that someone will buy it for $145 so he can get a new tire for his scooter.

There have been even more ridiculous things bought and sold through eBay.

I think it'll be under 2 dollars. So if it gives him and us entertainment it's worth it.
