The Apple BT keyboard - automatic caps and periods?

It doesn't give you caps automatically after a period (full stop). It doesn't create a period with a double tap of the space bar. This can't be configured any other way.

Is that right?

Correct the Bluetooth Keyboard does not support auto correct and insert period.

Drag. Kinda used to typing that way whenever I'm on any iDevices.

Bummer. So any hidden functions or just the basics:

letters
numbers
punctuation/space/delete/arrows
tab
enter
slide in/out virtual keyboard
volume/brightness/music controls

?

This sounds like a lot when I type out the list but the keyboard also feels slightly neutered without the shortcuts.
